Message from our Captain, Barbara Competello:

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's 2025 Invitational. It was a great success - many thanks to Leslie Curry and her team who once again delivered an exceptional experience.

Greetings to the WHRLGC Community,

 

I have been lucky enough to chair the WHRLGC Invitational for the past 4 years. It has been a privilege to work with some fantastic people. I know I said thank you at the Invitational, but I would like to take the time to say it again.

First of all thank you to our Board: Barbara, Sue, MaryAnn, and Cindy. They work hard to make sure our experience is the best that it can be here at Whitehawk Ranch. Second, thank you to our amazing Invitational Committee: Sue, Janet, and Pam.

 

Now to those who have also stepped up to make this tournament a success:

• Thank you to all of our hole and wine sponsors: Donna Ward, Patty McNamara, Gretchen Merrick, Betty Lease, Kathleen Friedman, Susan Erne, Carol Shields, Susan Erne, Brenda Knott, Judy Miller, Barbara Competello, Kim Miller (in memory of her mother Della), Janet Soli, Sue Peterson, JoAnn West, Mary Ann Crowe, Denise Stein, and Chris Hyatt. I neglected to put Chris’ sign out and I apologize for that. 

• A special thank you to Pam Cummings for her hole sponsorship and raffle basket donation. Without Pam this tournament would look much different than it does.

• Thank you to Mick, Steve, and Rich who helped with the table and chair set-up Sunday morning. 

• Thank you to Mick and Vince who helped to marshal the course and handed out candy to on pace players. 

• Thank you to April Gonzales form the Pro-Shop who was everywhere I could not be. And, thank you to Kathy Roth and Kathleen Friedman who volunteered at our lunch.

• Thank you to the West family whose donation of course, carts, and financial contribution also make this tournament happen. 

• Thank you to Mike Holmes and team for always making Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club a great experience. Chelsea and the ladies in McKenzie’s did a great job on dinner. And, Pangaea in Quincy did a wonderful job with our lunch. 

 

Without everyone’s help this tournament would not exist!
